Whipz 4 Rent - Rental Policies

Effective Date: June 1st, 2026

These Rental Policies are part of the Whipz 4 Rent Terms of Service and are intended to provide clear guidelines regarding rental eligibility, vehicle usage, fees, responsibilities, booking expectations, and customer obligations.

1. Rental Eligibility

  • Minimum rental age is 21 years old.
  • Drivers ages 21-24 are subject to a $15 per day young driver fee.
  • All renters must possess a valid government-issued driver’s license.
  • Customers must maintain valid personal automobile insurance during the rental period.
  • Whipz 4 Rent reserves the right to approve or deny rental requests at its discretion.

2. Reservation Requests & Approval

  • Submitting a reservation request does not guarantee vehicle availability or booking approval.
  • Reservations are confirmed only after Whipz 4 Rent review and approval.
  • Pricing, eligibility, deposits, and vehicle availability may vary based on verification, trip details, and risk factors.

3. Security Deposit

  • A refundable $150 security deposit applies to most rentals.
  • Deposits may be withheld partially or fully for damages, unpaid tolls, parking tickets, smoking fees, pet cleaning fees, excessive cleaning, fuel shortages, late returns, towing, impound fees, or policy violations.
  • Deposits are generally returned within 24-72 hours after final inspection if no unresolved charges exist.

4. Mileage Policy

Unlimited mileage is included for both direct bookings and Turo bookings unless otherwise stated in writing.

5. Fuel Policy

  • Vehicles must be returned with the same fuel level provided at pickup.
  • If fuel is lower upon return, customer agrees to a refueling charge of $8.00 per gallon plus applicable service costs.

6. Smoking & Pet Policy

  • Smoking and vaping inside rental vehicles are prohibited.
  • A $200 smoking remediation fee may apply if odor, ash, residue, burns, or smoking evidence is discovered.
  • Pets are allowed only in approved carriers or carrying cases.
  • Excessive pet hair, stains, odors, or cleaning needs may result in pet-related cleaning fees.

7. Late Return Policy

  • A one-hour grace period applies to all rentals.
  • Returns exceeding the grace period may result in an additional rental day charge.
  • Final charges may be adjusted proportionally upon final return review.

8. Vehicle Use Restrictions

  • Vehicles may not be used for reckless driving, racing, speed contests, towing, off-road use, illegal activity, or operation under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
  • Vehicles may not be used for rideshare, courier services, food delivery, transportation-for-hire, or commercial use unless approved in writing.
  • Only approved drivers listed on the reservation may operate rental vehicles.

9. Tolls, Tickets & Violations

Customers are fully responsible for tolls, parking tickets, speeding tickets, towing fees, impound fees, traffic violations, and related charges incurred while the vehicle is in their possession.

10. GPS & Vehicle Monitoring

Vehicles may contain GPS tracking, manufacturer telematics, or monitoring technology for theft prevention, safety, operational monitoring, fraud prevention, and policy enforcement.

11. Left-Behind Property

  • Whipz 4 Rent is not responsible for personal belongings left in rental vehicles.
  • Items may be transferred to Scoop Me Jay for secure storage and handling.
  • Customers are responsible for storage, shipping, retrieval, handling, and return costs.
  • Property not claimed within thirty (30) days may be considered abandoned and disposed of, donated, or otherwise handled in accordance with applicable law.

12. Outstanding Balances & Collections

Unpaid balances, including rental charges, damages, tolls, tickets, fuel charges, smoking fees, pet fees, cleaning charges, towing costs, and other unpaid amounts, may be referred to affiliated administrative or recovery providers, including Biz Filing Agency, for collection and account resolution.

Policy Acceptance

By submitting a reservation request, renting, possessing, or operating a Whipz 4 Rent vehicle, customer acknowledges and agrees to these Rental Policies.
